All My Perfect Pet orders ship in cooler boxes that are designed to keep your pet's food cold for up to 72 hours, but as an added precaution, we also include a large ice pack in every delivery.

Your pet’s food is frozen at the time it is picked up by the carrier and most deliveries will still arrive frozen. Please note that while our cooler box is designed to keep your pet’s food cold, it may not always keep it completely frozen solid, depending on various factors such as transit time, distance from our kitchen, and outdoor temperature.

If any bars are thawed or partially thawed upon arrival, as long they're cold to the touch, rest assured, they're safe for your fur baby to enjoy as the cooler box will have kept them as cold, if not colder, than your refrigerator. Additionally, thawed bars that are still cold can be refrozen without affecting the nutritional quality of the blend. All of our recommendations for storage, thawing, and refreezing are based on USDA guidelines.

To limit the amount of time your pet’s My Perfect Pet food spends outside your refrigerator or freezer, if you’re not sure you’ll be home or able to retrieve your order right away on delivery day, we recommend utilizing FedEx Hold at Location to hold your order for pickup at a convenient location near you.
